Beginner Horse Lessons!
I think I was born loving HORSES! When I was a young girl, I remember what it felt like to be in love with horses and wanted to learn all I could about them! Well…last summer, I organized an “All About Horses” Beginner Horse & Riding Lessons. I own a couple of really neat Haflinger Horses and knew a slew of great young girls to offer lessons too…and so it began! YAY! We had so much fun!!
Beginner Horse & Riding Lessons
This year, Group Horse Classes will held every 1st Thursday of the month in the afternoons. We go from May through September (when the weather is dry!) Topics include: Horse Safety, Mares and Foals, Responsibility & Caring for a Horse, Equine Medicine, Arena & Trail riding, Horse equipment and more! It’s a hands-on time for the kids to learn what it really means to own a horse and all of the fun stuff you can do with them. The rest of the Thursday afternoons are reserved for 30 minute Individual Riding Instruction Lessons which includes an obstacle course, small jumps & trail rides down to the river!
