The Story of Ambrotose® complex

One of our most favorite products in our home is Ambrotose® complex powder.  Ambrotose is a patented blend of 8 glyconutrients which are known to promote cellular communication in the body. Mannatech, Inc., the company who manufactures Ambrotose® complex., is celebrating 15 years of exceptional health results with this product!  Let’s go back to where it all started… >>

In The Beginning

The story of Ambrotose® complex begins thousands of years ago, with the plant that provides one of its components.  In many cultures throughout the world, the Aloe Vera plant has been revered and used for its remarkable healing properties.

Aloe is mentioned in the Bible (Num. 24:6&7) and has always been a popular home remedy, earning the title of the “potted physician”.  Many people keep an Aloe Vera plant in their homes in case of minor cuts and burns.  Just a little of the fresh gel brings instant relief.

Traditional medicine used fresh Aloe Vera to support immune function, to treat wounds and burns, to help recovery from illness, and to treat many common health problems.  It was known to magnify the power of other herbs, so it was added to other medicines to increase their potency and healing abilities.

Yet, for some reason, today’s processed and packages Aloe Vera products aren’t as effective as the fresh Aloe gel from the plant.  They didn’t provide any of the benefits traditionally attributed to Aloe.

Keeping Their Hearts Soft

“Oh Lord, keep their hearts soft and sensitive to You, and to Your precious Word.”  is the prayer that Nancy Campbell prayed  for her children as they were growing up.

I have collected several copies of the Above Rubies magazine over the years.  My first one came from my first midwife.  What a blessing this publication has been for me as I started my journey into motherhood, home schooling and homemaking.

I have to give all the credit for the following article to Nancy Campbell, founder and editor of the Above Rubies magazine.  This piece just totally touched my heart and has moved me to change some things in my life to help my children to have soft hearts… >>

“There is something even more important than teaching God’s Word to our children.  If we want His Word to penetrate their hearts and become walking flesh in their lives, we have to work hard on preparing the soil of their hearts.
